Wheeled excavators:
compare the starting points.
Compare equipment classes to build your first shortlist. Ask for a current model sheet and the exact configuration before making a purchasing decision.

Equipment class comparison
| Reference class | Listed weight class | Transmission reference |
|---|---|---|
| 2.5 t class | 2.5 t | AT |
| 4.5 t class | 4.5 t | AT |
| 7 t manual class | 7 t | MT |
| 7 t automatic class | 7 t | AT |
| 10 t class | 10 t | Not specified in category listing |
What the weight class does not tell you
A 7 t label is not a lifting-capacity rating. Ask for reach, digging depth, lifting charts, stability requirements, transport dimensions and hydraulic data for the actual setup. Confirm the transmission configuration in the offered model sheet.
For contractors
Share your site surface, movement between work areas, digging or lifting task, required attachment and transport constraints.
For distributors
Share your market, target models, order quantity, parts requirements and the documents your customers need. Distributor terms and territories require a separate agreement.
